About
Dipl.-Ing. (FH), 28 years in software development, from laser machinery to an insurance platform. Today I build software with AI coding agents and help mid-sized companies keep the AI they use under control. My position: software is an asset you should own, and someone has to be able to answer for AI.
What I bring
- Hands-on building. My own platform runs on .NET 10 and Blazor with PostgreSQL and Redis, in Docker containers on my own server. It ships through GitHub Actions and is monitored with OpenTelemetry and SigNoz. Several applications share sign-in, a design system and building blocks as my own packages. I know machine learning in production from industry, with PyTorch at LPKF. For client projects the technology follows your environment, not mine.
- Experience as a managing director. Three years with P&L, cash flow and personal liability. I know what a decision looks like from the chair that signs.
- Regulated environment. Several years in insurance IT with change and release processes, vulnerability management and evidence obligations.
- My own software factory with coding agents. One agent writes, a second one reviews independently and records a review receipt. Every change goes through a pull request with automated checks and is merged only when all of them pass. Agents reach GitHub only through my own restricted interface, and guard rules stop them from deleting things or skipping checks unasked. What I recommend, I run myself.
